Apps & tools
Things I’ve made.
-
Ostromo
A home screen for my LG TV that looks like the ship computers in Alien. It launches the apps and inputs, and shows live flights over Kastrup, today's power prices and polar webcams, with a sentry gun from Aliens for when it gets quiet.
-
snitscanner
A virtual flatbed scanner in your browser. Drag and zoom the image while it scans and the output smears and stretches.
-
Kipowi
A player and exporter for video, audio and images, MKV included. Trim it, crop it, or edit a picture and cut its background out on your own machine.
-
ExpressionGate
A macOS audio plugin you control by how loud you play. Quiet playing gives one set of effects, playing harder gives another.
-
OneKeyTalkie
A walkie talkie in a browser tab. Nine channels, one talker at a time, and an FM dial everyone on the channel shares.
-
Himmelluft
A small radio station for iPhone. Programmes go out at set times with the songs playing from your own Apple Music, and between them the station is silent and counts down to the next one.

Fifteen in all. These six are a sample — the rest are on the apps page, Mac apps and browser things alike.

A bit of background
From radio and film
to products and UX Research.
My work connects research, stories and technical knowledge of apps, websites and hardware. That has taken me through radio journalism, animation and VFX filmmaking, UX design and AI implementation.
