Himmelluft · Support

A small radio station for iPhone, by Jesper Henriksen.

Nothing is playing

Himmelluft is only on air at set times. Between programmes the screen says Silence on air and counts down to the next one, which is named at the bottom of the screen. Press Tune in and keep the app open, and the programme starts by itself when it begins.

I hear the talk but not the songs

The songs play from your own Apple Music subscription, so they need one. Check that you are signed in to Apple Music on the iPhone and that the subscription is active. If iOS asked whether Himmelluft may use Apple Music and you said no, switch it on under Settings, Himmelluft, Media & Apple Music.

The music started in the middle of a song

That is the radio part. Everyone hears the same thing at the same moment, so when you come in, you come in where the programme has got to.

Can I go back or skip?

No. You hear what is on now. To find a song you heard earlier, tap the song that is playing and choose Recently played and likes for the list of what has been played.

Finding a song again

Tap the song that is playing. Open in Apple Music opens it there. Search on Spotify searches Spotify for the title and artist; Spotify uses its own catalogue, so the top result is usually right but not always.

My likes

Press the heart next to a song to keep it. Likes are under Recently played and likes, and follow you to another iPhone through your iCloud if iCloud is on for the app.

It stopped while my phone was locked

A programme that is already playing keeps going with the screen locked. Waiting for one to start is less reliable: if the phone has been locked for a long time, iOS may have stopped the app. Open it again and press Listen.

Delete my data

There is no account to delete. See the privacy policy for the little the app keeps, and where.
