Snitscanner for Mac · Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

Snitscanner is made by Jesper Henriksen, a solo developer in Denmark. The short version: Snitscanner collects no data. Your images stay on your Mac.

Your images and projects

Everything you put on the glass — images, videos, the camera — is processed on your Mac. Scans, exports, recordings and projects are saved only where you choose. Nothing is uploaded, and I have no server that could receive or see what you make.

Remove background

Background removal uses Apple's Vision framework and runs entirely on your Mac.

Camera

The camera is used only when you choose File ▸ Add Camera, to show it live as an image on the glass. Nothing is recorded unless you record the scan yourself, and that recording is saved only on your Mac.

Purchases

The free trial and the unlock are in-app purchases handled by Apple through the App Store. I receive no payment details or personal information from them; Apple's privacy policy applies to the purchase itself.

No tracking

Snitscanner has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It does not contact any server of mine.

Children

Snitscanner collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page will be updated before the app does, with the date above.
